Product information

The reversible plate hammer sand-making machine is a new type of rock and sand processing equipment that utilizes impact energy to break stones based on the principle of natural river sand formation. During operation, the motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed. When stones enter the action zone of the hammer, they collide and break upon contact with the hammers on the rotor, are then thrown against the impact liner for secondary crushing, and subsequently rebound back to the hammer action zone to repeat the crushing process. This cycle continues as the stones enter the first and second crushing chambers in sequence from larger to smaller sizes, undergoing repeated fragmentation until they are discharged through the outlet. Through multiple impacts, the material forms particles smaller than the gap between the hammer head and the impact plate and is ultimately discharged.

Working Principle

The reversible sand-making machine is a sand-processing equipment capable of operating in both forward and reverse directions. When one side of the hammer plates becomes worn, the rotation direction of the rotor can be adjusted without opening the machine, allowing the opposite side of the hammer plates to continue operation. This extends the service life of the hammer plates by more than twice, reduces downtime for hammer plate adjustment or replacement, and thereby enhances production efficiency.

Compared to traditional hammer crushers, the reversible sand-making machine offers several advantages. It supports both forward and reverse rotation, features a grate-free design to prevent clogging, and allows adjustment of the discharge particle size by modifying the gap between the impact plate and the hammer head after wear occurs. Utilizing a hammer plate structure with high-wear-resistant hammer heads, the machine also incorporates a hydraulically operated housing for easy access.

During operation, driven by the motor, the rotor rotates at high speed. When stone material enters the action zone of the hammer plates, it is impacted and broken upon collision with the hammer plates on the rotor, then thrown against the impact liner for secondary impact breaking. Subsequently, the material rebounds from the impact plate back to the hammer plate action zone for repeated impact breaking. This process repeats continuously until the material is sufficiently crushed and discharged through the outlet. The discharge particle size can be adjusted by modifying the gap between the impact frame and the rotor or by regulating the rotor speed.

The machine's housing adopts a split-door design, allowing replacement of components without disassembling unrelated structural parts. When replacing hammer plates, the housing can be opened using hydraulic drive, eliminating the need for crane-assisted removal of the entire casing.
