Jaw crusher
The binder screw feeder is a specialized metering device designed for the continuous weighing, feeding, and proportioning of various powdered and bulk materials. It is particularly well-suited for metering free-flowing powders, such as fly ash and pulverized coal. This equipment finds wide application across industries including building materials, cement, chemicals, coal, mining, ceramics, glass, metallurgy, grain processing, fertilizers, feed, ports, power generation, coking, environmental protection, and transportation.
Working Principle
The binder screw feeder uniformly conveys powdered material from the storage hopper into the mixer via a flap-type discharger. The screw tube is equipped with load cells. By adjusting the discharge speed of the flap-type discharger, uniform and quantitative discharge is achieved. A weight sensor is installed at the upper part of the screw tube’s end section. Through the digital display on the control cabinet, the weight variation per discharge cycle can be monitored. By calculating the discharge volume per minute, the motor speed of the flap-type discharge valve is regulated to control the discharge flow rate, thereby meeting production requirements.
